Daniel Silverstein is a New York based women’s fashion designer and reality personality, and is emerging as a sought after talent for his cutting edge work with Zero Waste Design. 

Silverstein’s label has been seen around the world in stores such as Oak, Fred Segal, Shopbop, Bona Drag, Curve, Gilt Groupe Japan and more.  Entertainers such as Kristen Bell, Jennifer Hudson, Amber Valletta, Yael Stone, Alysia Reiner and Yolanda Ross have been seen at red carpet events and on magazine covers across the US and England in Daniel’s collection. 

After starting his collection in 2010, Daniel gained the attention of both the buyers and the audience on season 2 of the NBC reality competition, Fashion Star.  Branded as the “creative one” Silverstein’s designs took him all the way to the finale and won him a brand new car on the way! 

With his comfort and ease in front of an audience and on camera, Silverstein has given numerous interviews and lectures about his Zero Waste Design techniques.   Recently Seen in Driving Fashion Forward with Amber Valletta, and on MSNBC Shift and WABC News 7, Silverstein is committed to promoting responsible consumption by the fashion industry while demanding quality designs and products from his eponymous collection.  

Interested in helping fashion make a difference in women’s lives,  Daniel has donated time and pieces from his collection to help raise funds for Dess for Success and Jersey Battered Womens Service.
